Small Business Shoutout: Black + Jane

Small businesses need our help more than ever! With businesses shutting down left & right we need to come together to support. I know it can be more convenient to shop on amazon or just go to target. But, when you shop small the quality is usually a lot better and you can get more unique items. 

I've had problems with it too... just going the easy route going to one store and getting everything out of the way. Life doesn't have to be so convenient though. Nowadays most small businesses have an online store with shipping that's the same as amazon. I know the problem can also be not knowing where to shop! 

So whenever I discover a small business I'm going to give them a little blog post shoutout. Hopefully in the future you will love these businesses as much as I do and make a big difference to someone small. Feel free to comment any businesses you own or know of!

BLACK + JANE

Black + Jane was founded in 2015 in Venice Beach, California. Their brand focuses on metaphysical magic, apothecary, and self-love. Every piece is handmade in California. 

For my family owned boutique in Tustin, I ordered crystal and smudge stick bundles. First of all, the design of each and every bundle is gorgeous. I can tell there was a lot of TLC put into these. These bundles are perfect for home decor and they adjust the colors they use based on the upcoming season. THE SMELL makes me feel instantly relaxed. Each bundle has a different mix of herbs for cleansing. 

How I use: I light a candle and gently rotate the top of the smudge stick over the flame. Once smoke starts to rise I cleanse my room and then leave it on a crystal plate (if the smoke is still rising). If you're finished you can gently smudge the tip out on a safe to use plate or dish.
